4. Access the Filter: You’ll see a rectangular cover plate—this is the cabin air filter housing. Unclip the tabs on the side of this cover and remove it.

5. Inspect the Filter: Slide the old filter straight out. You’ll likely be surprised by how much debris it has collected! If it’s gray, dirty, and full of gunk, it’s time for a replacement. Make sure to note the airflow arrow printed on the side of the filter so you can install the new one correctly.
